“Could be a home game or one of their neutral site games.
A lot of "red" teams on the schedule. They look to be wearing a darker red like Miss State, South Carolina, Rider, Stanford, Hartford.”
“The NCAA tournament teams have an NCAA patch on their uniforms.
Kentucky had two distinct white uniforms that season; one had a blue "apron" across the shoulders (seen here), while the one he is wearing on the card did not (seen here). The white uniforms with no "apron" (for lack of a better term) were worn starting February 13 on the following dates: 2/13 (vs. Tennessee), 2/25 (vs. South Carolina), 3/7 (vs. Florida), and then throughout the SEC and NCAA tournaments.
Taking away the 4 NCAA tournament games (again, no patch as noted above), you're left with six possible dates: the three regular season games listed above and the SEC tournament games (Kentucky wore white in all three of them).
If the "red" theory is followed, South Carolina is "garnet", and the SEC tournament games were against Alabama (crimson) and Mississippi State (maroon).
Not much help here, I suppose, but perhaps it leads to some good starting points for others.”
“The face to the right of the basketball is Duane Peevy, so the people in the crowd are within a seat or two of the Kentucky bench. With Peevy sitting there it is probably a home game.
The South Carolina crowd around Peevy at Rupp.
