A reader commented that the banner appears to say “tournament Birmingham Alabama.” If that is true, it fits with the 1992 SEC Tournament, which was played at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, Alabama. LSU played 2 games in that tournament:
Mar 13, 1992 against Tennessee: not this game because LSU wore white
Mar 14, 1992 against Kentucky: according to bigbluehistory.net LSU was wearing yellow and the referees were John Clougherty, David Dodge, and Gary Marcum
