According to Wikipedia, Mark Macon played for the Temple Owls (A-10) from 1987-1991. The opponent in this image, the Rhode Island Rams, was also in the A-10 conference during the duration of Macon’s career.
Look closely at the photo and you can make out the letters “WVU” at center court. According to sports-reference.com, there was only one time these teams played each other on that floor during Macon’s career, during the A-10 conference tournament on Wednesday, March 9, 1988.
Video of that game can be found on youtube here, although the officials’ names were omitted from this upload. I have not yet attempted to watch the entire game to hear if their names were mentioned during other points in the broadcast.
