According to Wikipedia, Stacey Augmon played for the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels (Big West) from 1987-1991.
The opponent in this image is the Lousiville Cardinals (Metro). According to Sports-Reference.com, they played each other three times during Augmon’s career. Once at Louisville on Saturday, January 26, 1991. Once at home on Saturday, February 24, 1990. Also, once at Louisville on Saturday, January 22, 1989.
Looking closely at the image, we come away with a few more context clues. Center court appears to say “Freedom Hall” and there is a big letter “L” at the table, which leads me to believe that this photo was taken during a Louisville home game. If that is true, this photo came from the game in 1991 or 1989. My next clue is that you can make out Larry Johnson in the background wearing number 4. Johnson was not on the team during the 1989 season, leaving this photo to be matched to the game at Louisville on Saturday, January 26, 1991.
