According to the back of this card, Shaquille O’Neal played for the LSU Tigers (SEC/Southeast Conference) from 1989-92. The opponent on this card is the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels (Big West Conference).
I believe the photo is from the January 28th, 1990 game. If I am hearing the announcer correctly at 3:41 of this youtube video, the officials for the game were all from the ACC: Stan Rote, Dick Paparo, and Larry Rose.
The official scorer is also featured in this image, and I want to eventually identify him, but I’ll save that for a future post.
